Body and Paint Prep Technician

• We have a full-time position available in our Vehicle Assembly Department for an experienced Body and Pre-Paint body Technician.
• Experience and a good knowledge of;
  • Bare metal preparation using mechanical and chemical methods and techniques.
  • Prepping, masking and applying Epoxy Primers.
  • Application of various polyester, urethane and Epoxy based Fillers.
  • Experience in splines in long flat blocking fillers and primers
  • Experience in panel alignment and gapping essential.

The requirements for this position are, but not limited to:

• Maintain an accurate record of their work.
• Must be able to continually complete a very high standard of preparation for the pre paint body work at the pre paint stage.
• Follow instructions and to maintain good communications with the management and their fellow staff.
• Work to deadlines
• Manage their time efficiently.

• A position based on a probationary period of 6 month.
